RESERVOIR ENGINEERING EXPERT

Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 10 years of work experience in the sphere of Reservoir Engineering.

Main functions:

• Be fully abreast of reservoir simulation methods in addressing complex reservoir development issues.
• Ensure provision of production profiles evaluating different development concepts for Field Development Plan and strategies, Business Plan, Reserves Re-Determination and Design Project Update.
• Provide short, medium and long-term production forecasts and necessary input to annual business plan.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

• Advanced and extensive experience in reservoir simulation using compositional Intersect, Petrel RE, Eclipse-300, Proper and GAP softwares;
• Regulatory and methodical materials, existing rules and instruction on operating procedure, equipment and industrial engineering;
• The essentials of fields geology and oil-gas production technology;
• Production facilities and regimes of equipment operation, working instructions;
• Methods for determination of economic efficiency from new equipment integration and introduction of labour organization, rationalization proposals and inventions;
• Advanced domestic and foreign companies experience in well drilling and W/O;
• Purpose, design and technical characteristics of drilling equipment;
• Ability to lead and mentoring less experienced staff;
• Extensive experience in reservoir management and operations, reservoir and petroleum engineering, including production optimisation, data acquisition, reservoir development planning, reservoir simulation;
• Working experience in carbonate reservoir and condensate systems;
• Proficiency in economics;
• Working experience in carbonate reservoir and condensate systems.
