Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 2 years of work experience as Eco-Geologist.

Main functions:

  • Coordinate and follow-up the field activity relevant to the geo-ecological monitoring of the field: seismology network, water and shallow gas monitoring wells network and sampling.
  • Analysis and evaluation of the probability of the significant field surface deformation and detection of seismic events.
  • Compliance with Geodynamic Monitoring Programme and verification of raw seismic monitoring data.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • extensive knowledge of RoK regulations and obligations relevant to the subsurface water protection and subsurface waste water disposal;
  • venture operational and organisational structure and future development projects;
  • advanced experience in geology and geophysics;
  • basics of production, labour and management organization;
  • basics of labour legislation; code of labour safety;
  • engineering/production processes and operation regimes of the company;
  • existing environmental legal standards and norms; up-to-date international and in-country practice in the area of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources;
  • computer aids; communication facilities;
  • occupational health rules and norms;
  • knowledge of stratigraphy, electrical logs interpretation, core petro physical analysis, seismic;
  • basic of drilling techniques and operations;
  • ability to work in a team and with contractors;
  • presentation skills;
  • analytical skills, communication skills and technical writing skills;
  • computer skills (MS Office);
  • special software skills;
  • data and document management skills;
  • planning and control of task and budget execution;
