Education and work experience:
Higher education (University degree or higher) in mechanic area or in the relevant speciality and not less than 2 years of work experience as Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer
Main functions:
- Ensure serviceability (operational integrity) and appropriate technical condition of company’s process equipment (rotating equipment). Perform full analysis of rotating equipment, on routine and non-routine basis using the condition monitoring software and submit reports (Predictive Maintenance Reliability, Availability) in order to improve the equipment overall performance and optimise the equipment life
- Ensure compliance with diagnostic monitoring requirements and planned preventive maintenance frequency. Perform supervision of the process rotating equipment condition of production facility in accordance with original Equipment manufacture and ROK legislative requirements;

Necessary knowledge and skills:
- Be fully conversant with all facilities required for plant and equipment operations;
- Monitoring, these may include but not limited to: Microlog Data Collector, SKF vibration collector, Bentley Nevada System 1, Thermographic survey equipment;
- Resolutions, instructions, orders, method statements and statutory materials related to equipment maintenance management;
- Organization of maintenance service;
- Preventive maintenance system and efficient process equipment operation;
- Engineering specifications, design philosophy, function, operating modes and rules of company’s equipment operation;
- Repair and maintenance systems and techniques of rotating equipments;
- Equipment installation, commissioning and set up methods;
- Compilation procedure of equipment passports, operation manuals, punchlists, specifications and other technical documentation;
- Procedure for equipment handover for repair and maintenance and acceptance upon completion of repair;
- Advanced domestic and external experience in respect of production maintenance;
- Principles of rotating equipment (pumps, gas turbines, gas/diesel engines, compressors, sealing system, lubrication system, controls and protection system) design, maintenance and operations;
- Be able to carry out detailed analysis of vibration signatures;
- Be able to carry out in-situ balancing;
- Be able to carry out machine alignment;
- Have good PC skills with a full understanding of vibration analysis software;
- Highly effective people skills with demonstrated ability to work on teams and with diverse work-groups including craft-persons, vendors and various engineering disciplines.
