SENIOR DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher)  in oil and gas area or in the relevant speciality and not less than 4 years of work experience as Project Engineer.

Main functions:

• Ensure that the assigned Engineering studies are progressed and completed in accordance with Energy and Operations Transition plans.
• Provide coordination and support to achieve studies completion in accordance with KPO development plans.
• Analyze, propose necessary changes and additions, plan, manage, control and deliver the overall design and installation developments to new project.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

• Mastery English is an advantage on this role.
• Perform project investigations, surveys, engineering studies, calculations, conceptual design, production of drawings, engineering reports and scopes of work, input to cost estimation, equipment and material specification and procurement required for enhancement opportunities. Complete assigned work on time to meet KPO schedules.
• Participate in the risk assessment and hazard and operability studies of designs.
• Ensure the selection of cost effective designs and materials, taking into account operating costs and standardization of equipment.
• Onshore oil and gas upstream facilities.
• Engineering knowledge for concept selection, FEED (Front End Engineering and Design) studies, detailed design and construction.
• RoK and international codes, regulations and standards relating to engineering.
• Standards, technical specification and other guidelines development and completion of engineering design and supporting documents.
• Labour management, operation and management basics in the limits of responsibility in this job description.
• Labour legislation fundamentals; occupational labour and health protection regulations.
• Technical report writing.
• Good skills with PC in Windows environment.
• Time management.
