VENDOR QUALIFICATION SPECIALIST

Education and work experience:

Higher education (in economics, engineering-economics, technical) without any work experience requirements or secondary professional education (in economics, engineering-economics, technical) and not less than 2 years of work experience as per speciality.

Main functions:

• Effective and efficient execution of vendor preliminary assessment and regisrtaion of vendors in KPO Vendor Database in compliance with directives received from Vendor Qualification Coordinator;
• Maintenance of the KPO Vendor Database in terms of accuracy of stored data in order to promote maximum use of local vendors;
• Communication with User departments to seek feedback on vendors performance to plan activities aimed at vendor development, and preparation of accurate and appropriate reports for internal and external use.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

• Legal and regulative acts of RoK and international documents in contracts & procurement;
• Market methods of operations;
• Development prospects of the company;
• Methods and procedure of perspective and day-to-day planning of contracts & procurement activity;
• Basics on labour law of RoK;
• Contracts preparation/negotiating;
• Awareness of RoK business environment;
• Must have good computer skills; Must have basic knowledge of different database systems, and be able to develop small database from spreadsheet application;
• Proven presentation skills;
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in Russian and in English, both verbally and in writing;
• Well-developed analytical skills;
• Ability to solve practical problems in different situations; to find acceptable solutions.
