Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 2 years of work experience as Process Control Network Engineer.

Main functions:

  • Provide expertise and guidance in areas of Process Control Domain Integrity and Cybersecurity, aligned with relevant RoK legislations and International Standards;
  • Coordinate and guide in the definition of the functional requirements of PCD applications and networks. Develop and maintain PCD related documents, procedures, guidelines and conduct general user’s awareness campaigns;
  • Ensure safe operation of Process Control Domain hardware and applications, stand-alone PLC based systems, automated fire and gas detection systems, automated fire extinguishing systems, emergency shutdown systems equipment with respect to PCD/Cybersecurity Integrity field wide.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • Principles of Operations Technology (OT), PCN architecture and Cyber security terms;
  • International (ISE/NIST/ISA) standards related to Process Control Integrity and Cybersecurity;
  • Control & instrumentation, industrial equipment, process technology;
  • Advanced skills related to Windows and Linux Operating Systems;
  • PCD and DCS software applications and tools;
  • Projects FED, Engineering design and specification;
  • Virtualization technology;
  • Cybersecurity tools and technologies;
  • Obsolescence and functional life cycle regimes of all PCD related systems and sub systems;
  • Network structure of automatic control system;
  • Working with SAP and ECM systems;
  • KPO HSE rules and procedures;
  • KPO Code of Conduct and Internal Labour Regulations;
  • ICSS & Instrumentation maintenance manuals and instructions;
  • ICSS & Instrumentation passports and manufacturer recommendations;
  • Work packs and technical documentations preparation;
  • Communication skills in English;
  • Ability to work fully independently;
  • Ability to work in Multinational environment;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Computer literate; Office package; Visio, CAD, databases;
  • Planning and scheduling of project deliverables.
