Education and work experience:
Higher education (University degree or higher) in Petroleum Engineering without any work experience requirements.
Main functions:
- Support Lead IFM and PDMS Engineer in maintaining and developing the production data management system.
- Ensure that production data and well test data are properly quality control and stored in PDMS and reporting is done through PDMS.
- Lead Engineer in developing workflows for automation of RPE engineering and modelling activities and integrate models with real-time data.
- Develop the production database to improve allocation and reporting.
- Maintenance of all aspects of the PDMS. To ensure the system is updated in a timely manner following changes to the production system.
- Add new wells to Energy components, PI Analysis Framework and PI system. To update PI process book and PI vision displays with new wells.
- Work with Lead Engineer to coordinate and determine appropriate areas to extend and improve the PDMS system.
- Support Reporting Engineers in RPE and Production Departments who use PDMS.
- Develop, communicate and support the PDMS support model in KPO.
- Work with Lead Engineer to automate workflows using engineering software.
- Implement correct storage of daily production and well test data into the PDMS and load static gradient survey and performance curve data in to PDMS.
- Monitor PDMS ensuring the correctness of daily well production parameters allocation and relevant elaborated reports.
- Provide internal support for data analysis and delivery.
- Maintain liaison with other groups of the department in order to ensure that all tools are fit on purpose of other group, section and department.
- Keep abreast of development in the relevant technologies for Production and Asset Data Management.
- Track all internal workflows (report the procedures).
- Provide support on procedures improvement and best practice definition/revision.
Necessary knowledge and skills:
- mastery English is an advantage on this role;
- legislative and other regulative documents related to the area of responsibility;
- principles of operation, technical characteristics of engineering processes and projects;
- methods of exploration, rules and conditions of operations;
- main requirements to technical documentation, materials;
- current standards, technical conditions, governing documents regulating preparation of technical documents;
- knowledge of well modelling and production allocation;
- familiar with reporting requirements in RoK;
- Excel, VBA and SQL.;
- developing, quality control and analysing reports in a timely manner;
- experienced in using and maintaining PDMS system including (PI, Energy Component (EC));
- the IT architecture of the PDMS and how the data flow between applications;
- debugging of the PDMS and investigate the problem to the right level until resolved;
- maintaining database for RPE and all PDMS users;
- methods of technical evaluation and definition of economical cost of works and operations.
