Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in automation and control or oil and gas area and not less than 2 years of work experience as CMMS Engineer.

Main functions:

  • Ensure the CMMS/SAP contains the required data to facilitate safe and reliable operations of equipment within the field;
  • Provision of CMMS/SAP system and process support to end users within field;
  • Maintaining CMMS integrity while monitoring and optimizing its usage and value throughout field;
  • Maintain CMMS, preventive maintenance (PM) and repair works data as per business requirements. This includes but is not limited to:
  • - data collection/ verification, inputting and updating;
  • - creation and amendment of Task Lists, Maintenance Items, Maintenance Plans, Object Lists, Bill of Materials, Equipment, Work Centres, Functional Locations and Measurement Points;
  • - updating of equipment documentation, characteristics and certificates;
  • Verify and quality check collected data to ensure it is correct, complete and in the appropriate format prior to inputting into CMMS;
  • Carry out periodic data reviews and analysis, ensuring that data is consistently managed and complete;
  • Provide system and process training and support to end users in accordance with CMMS/ procedures and guidelines;
  • Support Lead CMMS Engineer in creation, review and update of CMMS procedures and guidelines;
  • Support and implement continuous improvement programs relating to both the CMMS and associated processes;
  • Prepare and deliver information to end users relating to system changes, quality assurance and data management;
  • Carry out administrative tasks associated with effective operation of CMMS team in accordance with Lead Engineers instructions;
  • Actively participate in HSE and team meetings, sharing experience and knowledge with other team members as requested.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • CMMS/SAP System;
  • Process equipment, procedures and principles of operation;
  • Maintenance strategies, management, and monitoring;
  • Maintenance manuals and work packs;
  • Process safety systems;
  • Electrical, Instrument and mechanical systems and equipment;
  • Statutory documentation and procedures related to technical preparation of production process;
  • Occupational safety rules and standards;
  • Oral and written communications;
  • Communication skills in English;
  • Proficient with IT equipment and knowledge of MS Office software;
  • Interpretation of business process flow charts.
