Education and work experience:
Basic Secondary Education. State-recognized driver`s license for the relevant vehicle and weight and tractor driver's license and not less than 1 year of special vehicle driving work experience.
Main functions:
- Operate Mobile Environmental Monitoring Station and EMS maintenance vehicles in compliance with the required safe driving measures, guided by safety rules;
- Check and monitor the technical condition of the vehicles to ensure its safe operation: check the serviceability of all components and mechanisms, structures, control devices and safety system means. Keep established reports on vehicle condition with an entry in the Log Book for technical condition;
- Monitor timely maintenance and technical inspection in the service centre;
- Ensure correct and safe operation of diesel generator sets, including mobile generator sets: monitor the operating parameters and refuelling, keep DGS and its compartment, area in the garage cleaned and well maintained;
- Carry out timely start-up of the diesel generator set in order to warm up the engine and maintain the DGS in working condition during the cold season, as well as before shift hand over;
- Carry out the safe connection of the Mobile EMS to the external power supply network while parking and before departure;
- Assist to Environmental monitoring specialist during station maintenance: in installation, moving cylinders with calibration gases; EMS equipment repair work, instruments dismantling and installation process; meteorological complex installation process;
- Ensure safe connection of the EMS from the backup generator in the absence of the main power supply of the station. Ensure safe DGS switching-on and install DGS exhaust system when monitoring the quality of atmospheric air;
- Inform and coordinate actions with Environmental monitoring systems coordinator when detecting malfunctions and deficiencies in the DGS, auxiliary equipment and the MEMS and EMS maintenance vehicles technical condition;

- Undergo periodic Defensive Driving Courses and have a safe driving certificate. Undergo timely industrial safety and labour protection, electrical safety knowledge assessments;
- Operate and monitor the technical conditions of Environmental Monitoring systems vehicles
- (Mobile Environmental Monitoring Station MEMS and EMS maintenance vehicles) on a daily basis;
- Monitor and maintain the operability of the mobile EMS auxiliary equipment;
- Ensure serviceable technical condition of diesel generator sets (DGS) of the section.
Necessary knowledge and skills:
- RoK traffic rules;
- Internal rules and regulation of traffic in the Karachaganak Oil, Gas and Condensate Field;
- HSE and electrical safety rules and briefings;
- KPO Code of conduct;
- First aid skills;
- Handle hand tool;
- Use, purpose, principles of operations of breathing apparatus and communication means;
- Driving all types vehicle of Operations HSE Department.
