Education and work experience:
Higher education (University degree or higher) in Translation Studies sphere and not less than 2 years of work experience as Technical Translator (Trilingual) or secondary professional education and not less than 3 years of work experience as per speciality.
Main functions:
- Ensure good quality and timely delivery of verbal translation support and written translation of technical and other documents of the company into/from the Kazakh, Russian and English languages;
- Provide interpreter support and perform written full and summary translations by ensuring ‘no loss’ in conveying the meaning, compliance with stylistic standards and lexical norms of the source and target languages;
- Proofread the translated texts, in particular, official documents drafted for the attention of the State authorities and organizations
- Clarify and ensure consistent use of discipline related terminology and definitions in all documents being under translation;
- Participate in preparation of reports/minutes of meetings and negotiations held, keeping required records;
- Ensure confidentiality of all information (written and verbal) related to the company;
- Maintain electronic database of translated documentation, ensure the system of quick search of the documents and assist with document management;
- By means of self-education and specific trainings, ensure continuous upgrade of qualification and skills to efficiently perform the job duties envisaged by this Job Description;
- Perform other duties upon the request of Lead Technical Translator / Languages Project Expert within the competence of the position.
Necessary knowledge and skills:
- Preferred level of state, Russian and English language proficiency should be above average (B2);
- Technical and non-technical verbal and written translation methods;
- Consequative translation techniques;
- Discipline related terminology;
- Lexical norms, grammar and stylistic standards of the three languages;

- Health and Safety standards and regulations;
- Computer literacy skills: advanced user of Microsoft and other key software;
