Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in economic, finance sphere and not less than 5 years of work experience in managerial positions in oil and gas.

Main functions:

  • Provide effective organisation of the department’s activities. Provide full support and ensure high quality and timely provision of management and financial reporting for KPO, Contracting Companies, Authority and Governmental Bodies;
  • Organize and supervise preparation of KPO Monthly Reporting detailing expenditures against budget with justification. Supervise AFE monitoring, control and reporting process within Work Program and Budget. Assure that all financial reports are composed in compliance with the requirements of the FPSA (Final Production Sharing Agreement);
  • Perform overall control over preparation and issue of:
  • monthly billing package;
  • statement of recoverable costs;
  • statement of fixed assets put into operation;
  • register of fixed assets;
  • petroleum operations account;
  • distribution forecast;
  • statistical reports.
  • KPO Monthly Reporting with detailed analysis of KPO expenditures against WP&B;
  • Quarterly Outturn Report to PSA as per the agreed format;
  • Provide support and guidelines to KPO departments in performing the analysis of costs and their accounting treatment;
  • Coordinate audits performed by the Contracting Companies, Tax Authorities and Internal Auditors in areas relating to Joint Venture Accounting (JVA);
  • Prepare responses for the requests from PaСos and respond when needed;
  • Assure compliance of accounting with FPSA requirements and inform the Financial Controller in case of any inconsistencies occurred;
  • Check all processes ongoing internally and make proposals on their improvement;
  • Coordinate actions related to planning and budgeting with Budgeting and Forecasting Department. During closing of monthly accounts, analyse preliminary actual costs vs budget and pre-closure data;
  • Control over Accounts Receivable and timely Net Revenue distributions;
  • Verification of conformity of the financial reports with the accounting data;
  • Develop and introduce forms, formats and timeline for KPO Reporting. Draft relevant procedures and guidelines;
  • Coordinate the effective reporting and analysis processes, carry out optimisation and cost effectiveness initiatives;
  • Control over creation in SAP of the new General Ledger Codes, Cost Elements, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Centres;
  • Manage the coordination and control of internal (for KPO Management) and external (for partners) AFE preparation and reporting;
  • Verification of the consistency of the materials accounting in Material Management (MM) and Finance (FI) modules in SAP. Leverage SAP JVA module for KPO cash-basis reporting requirements;
  • Propose new solutions to digitalise and automate manual finance processes when applicable.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • Mastery English is an advantage on this role;
