Education and work experience:
Higher education (University Degree or higher) in oil and gas sphere the relevant speciality and not less than 2 years of work experience as Production Allocation and Reporting Engineer.
Main functions:
- Generating production allocation reports and the year-end reserve report (6GR) as required by various regulatory authorities, using Energy Component tool with the support of Production and Asset Data Management Engineers;
- Prepare official reports regarding all air emissions. To support flaring budget request process/ maintain updated end of the year forecast on flaring emissions in liaison with Well Integrity and Field Petroleum Engineering groups;
- Ensure that production data and well test data are properly quality controlled and stored in PDMS and reporting is done through PDMS;
- Quality check all the data received from the various departments that is used in well production allocation;
- Keep records and provide flaring volumes related to well testing activities;
- Preparation of monthly production allocation report, quality check of the results;
- Develop and issue the reporting activities honouring the official delivery requirements with the appropriate quality;
- Provide efficient maintenance of all the inputs required in the PDMS from Reservoir Management Section;
- Keep care about maintaining informed the internal customers (RMS-RPE-KPO) about the reports and update issues;
- Inform Line Managers about possible violations of the implementation of RoK rules and technological regimes;
- Monitor and trend the daily and monthly allocation error on a routine basis;
- Provide reporting and storage of relevant results and production allocation in PDMS;
- Ensure to implement the monthly RMS/RPE reports in PDMS;
- Issue reports for all the mentioned subjects of this job description: official reports as per RoK regulations and KPO requirements as well as the internal monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual frequency based on actual and future requirements;
- Prepare presentations related to the work done;
- Maintain liaison with department groups, in particular Reservoir Surveillance and Planning Group, Field Petroleum Engineering Section, Well Operations and Production Departments;
- Provide support on procedures improvement and best practice definition/revision;
- Support Section Head in training for junior engineers and students.
Necessary knowledge and skills:
- Legislative and other regulative documents related to the area of responsibility;
- Principles of operation, technical characteristics of engineering processes and projects;
- Rules and conditions of operations;
- Current standards, technical conditions, governing documents regulating preparation of technical documents;
- The essentials of fields geology and oil-gas production technology;
- Company’s production technology;
- Production facilities and regimes of equipment operation, working instructions;
- Basic of labour organization and management;
- All the tools of the PDMS, including Tietonator’s EC allocation software band Osisoft’s PI software;
- Computer and telecommunication means with Familiarity and use of the following Softwares applications: Production Data Management Systems (PDMS) software applications (i.e. PI, Energy Component); basic fluid modelling software applications (i.e. PVTp);
- Basic of data /information flow through the PDMS and IT system;
- Production allocation, metering, geo losses and reporting activities (i.e. PDMS projects and production allocation reporting);
- Proficiency in budget and contract management;
- Working experience in carbonate reservoir and condensate systems.
