TRUNK PIPELINES OPERATOR

Education and work experience:

Higher or secondary professional education in oil and gas, oil and gas processing technologies, operation of oil and gas fields and not less than 5 years of work experience as per Oil and Gas Production Operator.

Main functions:

• Fulfilment of specified operating tasks as per the operation and technical maintenance of gas condensate pipelines, methanol pipeline, sweet gas pipeline and GDS to ensure the achievement of scheduled production performance;
• Pipelines, block valves operation start-ups and shutdowns for repair and scheduled activities or emergency shutdown of the whole facility during emergency situation according to emergency response plan;
• Daily works, monitoring pipelines operation, survey and inspection of the pipeline route, checking failures such as pressure rise, leaks, unusual noise etc;
• Checking local devices and taking off the records of the control equipment in the appropriate pipeline system;
• Checking the leaks both into the atmosphere and via vent and drainage valves and participate to eliminate them;
• Support operating communication with UESP LLC “Gazprom dobycha Orenburg” as per the operating regime;
• Preparation for technical maintenance, for example shutdown, pressure release, drainage, steam cleaning, purging with inert gas, mechanical isolation, raising work permits;
• Checking works carried out in the objects of trunk pipelines and in secured areas with the purpose to provide their compliance with work permit requirements and HSE standards;
• Operative technical maintenance of the pipelines, cleaning filters, replacement and filling up the level of lubricating materials, packing with sealing lubricant;
• Specification of technical problems, which require the actions of appropriate maintenance specialists and raising appropriate work orders and work permits, performance of repair works in KOTS equipment;
• Pigging the pipelines and inhibitor injection activities according to the requirement of technical regulations of gascondensate pipelines operation;
• Planned activities as per the technical maintenance according to PPM schedule (gascondensate pipelines, GDS);
• Preparation of operative regime sheets as per the operation, gather and prepare the information as per current technical maintenance, about identified defects, leaks and failures in order to insert into the operating documentation; 
• Clean housekeeping and work site and areas arrangement (gascondensate pipelines route, valve stations, PL areas);
• Fulfilment of anti-flood measures and plans as per the preparation of the facilities for the winter time operation;
• Participation in preparatory activities of the pipelines and equipment to repair and testing;
• Performance of operating swaps of sweet gas pipeline as per supply regime and gas consumption;
• Participation in the in-line flaw detection test of the pipelines;
• Support firefighting safety on gas condensate pipelines and in secured zone of KOTS objects;
• Participation in repair works as per technical maintenance and hot works (gas hazardous work performance as a member of Voluntary Gas Rescue Team).
• Leadership (tutorship) of less qualified Personnel;
• Active participation in HSE Card Programme;
• Perform functions of Person responsible for the area and Performing Authority, if attended SKA Level II during the work performance with PTW system.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

• Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
