Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in HSE sphere and not less than 2 years of work experience as Safety Engineer.

Main functions:

  • Ensure compliance of KPO and Contractors personnel with RoK and KPO warehouses, PPE safety requirements;
  • Implementing warehouses, PPE safety improvement plans, schedules and activities.
  • Coordinate effectively and prioritize activities for subordinate personnel aimed to maintain and improve warehouses, PPE safety in KPO;
  • Provide consultancy and support on warehouses, PPE safety issues to KPO and Contractors personnel;
  • Implement together with subordinate personnel yearly warehouses, PPE safety improvement plans and schedules;
  • Identify immediate and root causes of warehouses, PPE safety related violations and incidents, develop recommendations and corrective actions, implement activities aimed to decrease of number of warehouses, PPE safety related violations and incidents;
  • Participate and coordinate participation of subordinate personnel in warehouses, PPE safety compliance inspections, reviews and audits, in warehouses, PPE safety related incidents investigations and risks assessments;
  • Coordinate implementation of activities aimed to increase safety culture within KPO and Contractors;
  • Coordinate implementation of best international practices in warehouses, PPE safety approved by management;
  • Conduct and participate in warehouses, PPE safety meetings, stand downs and campaigns with involvement of KPO and Contractors personnel;
  • Participate in development, issuing, update of warehouses, PPE safety standards, procedures and guidelines;
  • Hold weekly meetings with subordinate personnel to discuss warehouses, PPE safety plans and activities, priorities, improvements, challenges and proposals;
  • Conduct weekly visits of the Field in order to assess safe condition of the Field warehouse, communicate on warehouses, PPE safety issues with a section personnel and other KPO and Contractors personnel working in the Field;
  • Participate in evaluation of potential suppliers, tenderers and contractors of KPO departments with regard to warehouses, PPE safety compliance;
  • Fulfill other roles and responsibilities out of the main functions and job duties aimed to safety improvement in KPO.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • Mastery English is an advantage on this role;
  • RoK safety legislation for warehouses, PPE;
  • RoK Fire safety legislation.
