Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in Translation Studies sphere and not less than 2 years of work experience as Technical Translator (Trilingual) or secondary professional education and not less than 3 years of work experience as per speciality.

Main functions:

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • Kazakh, Russian and English languages;
  • Technical and non-technical verbal and written translation methods;
  • Consequative translation techniques;
  • Discipline related terminology;
  • Lexical norms, grammar and stylistic standards of the three languages;
  • labor organization basic requirements;
  • Labor legislation;
  • Health and Safety standards and regulations;
  • Computer literacy skills: advanced user of Microsoft and other key software;
  • Use of dictionaries, specific regulations and references;
  • Interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
