Education and work experience:

Higher technical education (University degree or higher) in oil&gas, mechanical or civil areas and not less than 2 years of preferable work experience as Project Engineer.

Main functions:

  • Provide day to day management support to his/her Line Manager for all activities required to implement the project execution plan, plus coordination of project activities to achieve the established milestones and goals.
  • Oversee and facilitate the development of design solutions in portions or full scope.
  • Ensure that the design and procurement activities are coordinated such that they provide the necessary construction deliverables for the project construction and commissioning phase.
  • Work closely with Line Manager, oversee and facilitate the Engineering design ensuring that quality is maintained and that the required engineering deliverables are produced in accordance with the project schedule and cost.
  • Work closely with the Project Controls Manager, oversee and facilitate the procurement of all services and material requirements in accordance with the project schedule and cost.
  • Coordinate and support project activities through construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the completion of handover and close-out documentation as required to effectively close out the project both technically and financially.
  • Plan, develop, coordinate and review design proposals and project development in accordance with the project objectives and agreed scope(s) of work.
  • Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of discipline estimates and work plans in accordance with the project scope, schedule and budget, and manages implementation and performance accordingly.
  • Manage and/or facilitate internal and external discussions with stakeholders to develop and agree appropriate technical decisions.
  • Ensure that design solutions are fully verified by the appropriate technical persons and are in compliance with KPO and the project requirements.
  • Coordinate the development of each project stage and participate at all stages and phases of design, construction and handover.
  • Manage and/or facilitate the requirement for any external approvals and Expertise of project deliverables.
  • Support the field supervision for construction on issues within the frame of his/her competence.
  • Manage and facilitate careful review and formal approval of any proposals for changes to be made to the project design in accordance with the appropriate procedure(s).

  • Mastery English is an advantage on this role;
  • Prospects for technical development of the venture;
  • Decrees, resolutions, orders of authorities, management, methodical and statutory materials on engineering, construction and operation of projects;
  • Technical, economical, ecological and social requirements to the projects under design;
  • Construction codes and rules;
  • Standards, technical specifications and other guidelines development and completion of engineering design and other supporting documents;
  • Standardization Fundamentals;
  • Construction economics and organization;
  • Automation of engineering and computing works;
  • Labour protection standards and rules;
