Lead Lifting Operations and Maintenance Support Engineer

Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 5 years of work experience as Mechanical Engineer (related with Lifting Operations)

Main functions:

• Manage KPO Field Facilities with any issues related on Lifting Operations. Manage all appropriate contracts and contractors related to cranes rental, operation and fixed lifting equipment maintenance;
• Provide technical expertise on all engineering subject matters related to operation and maintenance of Lifting Equipment. Support operations with focus of providing best equipment maintenance service, and implement corrective maintenance as determine by the inspections team. Review and approve lifting operations plan and support for all P&M related activities and other KPO departments as per Company requirement;
• Manage Maintenance Department Lifting Operations and Maintenance Support Team. Lead development, implementation and execution of maintenance strategies for Lifting Equipment. Ensure compliance for Lifting Operations and maintenance with ROK legislation and KPO relevant procedures. Support with ensuring competence of KPO Lifting operations practitioners.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

• Expert level knowledge in Safe Lifting operations and Maintenance;
• Method statement and statutory materials related to equipment maintenance management;
• Principles of maintenance organization within the company;
• Planned preventive maintenance system and efficient operation of process and lifting equipment;
• Outlook of company's technical development;
• Engineering specifications, design philosophy, functions, operating mode and operation procedure of company's equipment;
• Maintenance Organization and techniques;
• Equipment installation, set up and commissioning methods;
• Principles of company's production processes;
• Compilation procedure of equipment passports, operation manuals, punch lists, specifications and other technical documentation;
• Procedure of equipment handover for repair and maintenance and acceptance upon completion of repair;
• Requirements of efficient labour management during equipment operation, maintenance and enhancement;
• Advanced domestic and external experience in respect of production maintenance;
• Principles of production and labour organization and management;
• Principles of labour legislation;
• Principles of environmental legislation; occupational safety regulations and standards;
• Managing the long-term contracts and contractors;
