Education and work experience:
Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 2 years of work experience as Maintenance Interface Engineer.
Main functions:
- Act as interface between Projects Team and KPO Maintenance Teams (Maintenance, Units Maintenance) for Maintenance Engineering activities and deliverables within the Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A) Scope of Work and support on any maintainability issue related to new Wells handover and Field Facility Modifications.
- Support Maintenance Interface Superintendent on Maintenance issues with Projects Team and Contractors to ensure that Projects scope of work will meet maintainability and integrity requirements for the achievement of the state of asset readiness to operate.
- Support within OR&A Team to improve KPO Operations Readiness and Assurance related guidelines and procedures, as part of KPO Project Management System and KPO Operations Management System requirements.
- Review engineering design documentation related to Operations including Project philosophies (Operations and Maintenance, Control, Start-up and Shutdown, HSE aspects) and verify its compliance with KPO standards and best practices.
- Ensure that KPO Maintenance requirements have been captured, along Project phases, within Major and Minor Projects.
- Assist on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS build) activities execution and assure delivery against KPO procedures and standards in liaison with Central Maintenance Depts.
- Review Maintenance Engineering and Asset Integrity Studies (e.g. RBI/Baseline Inspection, RCM, RAM, Ex register, SCE identification, Ex register) by leading Maintenance Interface Engineer and Contractors and assure outcomes are fed back to Project for relevant activities in liaison with Central Maintenance Depts.
- Provide any required support on maintenance aspects to Integrated Commissioning and Start-Up Team during final stages of Projects in execution.
- Support Maintenance Interface Superintendent duties relevant to any Maintenance or Asset integrity issue.
- Whereas required, participate to meetings, peer reviews, assist, workshops, assurance events and technical integrity verification (TIV) with shareholders.
- Provide maintenance inputs on Project initiatives developed within Field Facilities Modification (FFM) and General Projects (GPD).
Necessary knowledge and skills:
- Upper-intermediate (B2) English level is an advantage on this role;
- Maintenance engineering aspects, with emphasis on CMMS build activities;
- Basic knowledge of Project disciplines (i.e. Engineering, Technical Integrity, Quality, Construction & Commissioning);
- Field and Corporate Health, Safety and Environment Policy of venture, and apply to company’s Safety Management Systems;
- Basic of RoK and international codes, regulations and standards relating to health and safety, environment;
- Has contributed to major Projects or minor projects initiatives within the oil and gas business;
- Interface with Project team representatives / Contractors or Field Maintenance representatives;
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment;
- Technical report writing;
- Sound problem solver who understands sensitivity and complexity of delivering business within a complex joint venture and the RoK;
- Team player and good communicator, time management, target oriented.
