Education and work experience:

Higher education in finance area and not less than 2 years of work experience as Materials Control Specialist.


Main functions:

  • Posting in KPO material resource planning system SAP the transactions on materials management (receipts, issue, relocation, stock check, stock replenishment) within warehouse materials control procedures
  • Creation of documents on materials movement, stock check, stock replenishment (purchase requisitions).
  • Input into SAP information about materials receipt in accordance with reports of Storekeepers, in accordance with KPO Customer-departments (upon direct material receipt).
  • Contact KPO Customer-departments and get the instructions (issue / storage) in case if materials have been ordered not by stock replenishment process.
  • Contact KPO Customer-Department and agree further actions with them upon receiving of “Discrepancies Report”. Deliver the Discrepancy Report to the Logistics and Customs Support Section.
  • Print Materials Receiving Report out of SAP and submit it for verification to Senior Materials Control Specialist.
  • Check the correctness of Goods Return Notes completion and post up the materials receipt into SAP system. Maintain the register of Goods Return Notes.
  • Receive the requisitions for PPE from user-departments. Check the correctness of requisitions completion in terms of their requisites and their entitlement for PPE issues in accordance with Personnel PPE provision norms and database entries. Ensure transmittal of the approved PPE requisitions to storekeepers or Contractor. Maintain the register of PPE requisitions.
  • Complete the reports on PPE issue and analyse the data on PPE consumption by departments and other divisions.
  • Coordinate materials issue by agreement with user-departments representatives of the time and materials delivery point. To arrange documentation in accordance with “Issue and delivery” procedure.
  • Provide storekeepers with Physical Inventory Documents. To input results of stock check into SAP system. Update the register of discrepancies discovered during inventory cycle count and initiate the process of their recheck.
  • In case of discrepancy confirmation to complete Materials Adjustment Form and initiate the process of its approval. To control the performance of actions on discrepancies regulation. To create in SAP system materials adjustment orders.
  • Check the correctness of Relocation Forms completion by storekeepers and update data of materials location in SAP system.
  • Relocate materials between SAP virtual storerooms on the basis of the instructions from user-departments.
  • Ensure materials control documentation safe keeping till their handover to archive.
  • Perform other instructions of management / line manager / direct superior within its competence.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • regulations and instructions of warehouse activity and materials management;
  • operations documenting order and organisation of the documents circulation;
  • economic analysis methods;
  • materials receipt, posting, storage and issue procedures;
  • shortage and other loss writing off procedure;
  • inventory stock check rules;
  • documents verification and revision procedures;
  • modern computers and their usage for calculating operations and analysis of venture’s finance, industrial and economic activities;
  • norms and regulation of labour safety;
  • computer skills on advanced user level,
  • ability to make calculations such as proportions, percentages.
