Education and work experience:
Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 5 years of work experience in the position of Project Engineer.
Main functions:
- Deliver Project Engineering of assigned Field Modification Requests (FMRs) from project initiation until hand over to Units including coordination with engineering, procurement, construction and project close out.
- Develop and issue FMR feasibility studies and ensure execution are progressed and completed as per approved scope, time and cost and in compliance to Company technical and HSE standards.
- Follow the priorities and aligned with stakeholders. Define and monitor performance targets in the project delivery process. Provide continuous improvements to the field modification processes.
- Frame and define the FMR scope by leading and performing desktop reviews, site surveys and engineering studies.
- Prioritize and review the execution plan (concept, engineering, procurement, construction etc.) of FMRs in line with Operations strategic objectives.
- Issue the Field RFA / RFA project execution plan with agreed EPC schedule, costs and allocation of internal and external resources.
- Develop feasibility studies, cost estimates, EPC schedule, economical evaluation and other technical reports during the conceptual design stage of FMRs.
- Coordinate the completion of Field RFA / RFA engineering studies, design and material procurement under the FED and/or PED Engineering responsibility.
- Coordinate the execution of assigned work packs by MJW’s and other department per approved schedule.
- Manage the interfaces between engineering, procurement and construction departments.
- Ensure timely initiation and close out the associated field modifications MoCs.
- Coordinate the field modifications RoK permits issuance with internal and external parties.
- Implement the project control systems to monitor and report schedule, cost, risk / opportunities of the field modifications life cycle, from the project initiation to the construction phase.
- Prepare and submit the OPEX and CAPEX annual work programme (AWP) of field modifications
- Regular updates to the stakeholders on the progress, risks/opportunities and changes to the AWP.
- Handover the field modifications to the Units as per approved schedule and budget.
Necessary knowledge and skills:
- Upper-intermediate (B2) English level is an advantage on this role;
- Onshore oil & gas upstream facilities;
- Competence in the process of multidiscipline engineering, procurement and construction workflows with working knowledge of the significance in deliverable hierarchies and prioritization;
- RoK and international codes, regulations and standards relating to process and plant design;
- Labour legislation fundamentals; occupational labour and health protection regulations;
- Planning, scheduling, and report writing;
- Database management, Primavera, SAP system, Microsoft office applications.
- Experience in management of project planning and cost control of field modifications/projects;
- Ability to interface with stakeholders;
- Personally resilient, flexible, self-confident, assertive and have ability to motivate and build consensus;
- Leadership, Coordination and team work capabilities, ability to work in a multicultural environment;
- Strong organisational and administering skills.
