Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in law sphere and not less than 2 years of work experience in the positions of specialist or secondary professional education and not less than 3 years of work experience by speciality.

Main functions:

  • Security management of the assigned facility, direct control of contractor providing security services, which consist of protecting all KPO personnel and assets from all forms of harm;
  • Supervise implementation, operation and maintenance of electronic security systems (CCTV, Electronic Access Control, GPS vehicle tracking, etc.);
  • Ensure good condition and security of property, vehicles, inventory, communication means and other equipment of the Security offices at the assigned facility;
  • Ensure that the assigned facility is under full security cover 24/7. Prepare and submit daily situation reports (site reports) for each 12-hour shift to Security Operations Superintendent. Develop and review patrol routes to improve efficiency;
  • With the aim to prevent terrorist activity, ensure counter-terrorist protection of facilities and proper level of their security, take measures for executing appropriate access control, make proposals for supplying facilities with modern security equipment according to their specified requirements, develop passports on anti-terrorism protection of entrusted facilities on a base of standardized passport; conduct preventive and training activities to identify possible places of planting explosive devises; 
  • Develop and present monthly operations plan to Security Manager for approval. Develop and analyse patrol routes to optimise patrol effectiveness. Develop and conduct drills and exercises at frequent intervals to test patrol response times to incidents. Monitor professional training sessions of security contractors;
  • Monitor and deploy patrols by means of GPS vehicle tracking;
  • Establish good communication with the near by villages, and maintain close liaison with local police and agencies;
  • Be fully aware of all the tasks imposed on Contractor Company for providing security of KPO facilities, allocation of security posts and patrols, layout of pipeline facilities, operational situation at facility posts, instructions and orders of KPO management at the beginning of shift;
  • Check timely arrival of security guards, mobile patrol crews; their fitness for duty, availability of documents, operational condition of vehicles. Control and assess performance of security guards and patrolmen, check availability and integrity of special means, technical equipment, integrity of locking mechanisms, seals, stamps, operational condition of alarm systems;
  • Fully cooperate in all tasks with operational and maintenance personnel, and maintain two-way feedback on all issues related to the security. Arrange and control access restriction during nonworking hours, week-ends and holidays and according to current directives; consider exceptional cases access passes for external personnel performing on-site services;
  • Conduct daily preventive inspections of buildings and constructions; check inventory and availability of fire equipment. Prepare information sheets stating condition of guarded facilities and suggestions to eliminate deficiencies based on results of inspections. Regularly check condition of all assets such as external fencing, security gates, security lighting, communication means and alarm systems; take timely measures to eliminate deficiencies as they appear;
  • Act on each violation of access and regulations on-site, reporting them to Security Operations Superintendent;
  • Take measures to detain offenders (persons who committed offences against goods and other materials or committed other violations) and arrange their delivery to law enfocement agencies, and report all such incidents to Security Operations Superintendent;
  • Deploy and control security teams when exclusion zones are required;
  • Assist in preparation of security cover for VIP visits;
  • Conduct internal investigations of security incidents;
  • Carefully maintain documentation, keep popper registration and archiving. Observe strict confidentiality while carrying out his duties.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • Basic principles of RoK Laws and regulations, acts, provisions, instructions and other governing documents regulating Company’s access control procedures.
  • Organization structure of the Company.
  • Rules and procedures of passes and other access documents issue.
  • Basic principles of labour management.
  • Internal labour regulations.
  • Health, Safety and Environment regulations as applicable to all KPO personnel.
  • Scope of Company’s business and type of its economic activity.
  • All security equipment and operating systems, journey management, communications systems, and procurement procedures;
  • Sports training and self-defence techniques.
