Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 4 years of work experience as per speciality.

Main functions:

  • Ensure welding and NDE activity is carried out in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications and Project Specifications and Procedures.
  • Engineering supervision of Mechanical and Welding, construction and (pre-)commissioning activities. Ensuring all work is completed to project and/or Local Regulatory standards. Acceptance of completed installation from contractors. Discussion with Engineering of 5IC Project and Contractor regarding the construction obstacles.
  • Ensure that all welding (in shop and field) are performed as International code and KPO standard.
  • Ensure that all Pipeline construction, piping weldings, and supports construction are built as 5IC Specifications
  • Conduct quality surveillance at suppliers / contractors and construction site. Input results of inspections / bservations into the dedicated Completions Management System in timely manner. Follow-up the entire construction such as welding, trenching, lower-in, coating, installation of equipment, tie-ins, pigging, hydrotest, Inspection of the reception of vessels, good, bulk materials.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • All Pipeline and piping and mechanical construction as International code;
  • Local rules and laws, codes, local and international standards, best industry practices regarding NDE and welding;
  • Project specification and procedure (including those of contractors) for materials and construction and, particularly, NDE and welding inspection;
  • General procedures and practices for NDE and welding performance during construction and personnel qualification;
  • Company HSE Policy and Procedures;
  • Thorough understanding and be able to interpret local and international codes (ASME, API, NACE, GoST, SNiP);
  • Inspection and repair of in-service piping and vessels in accordance with API 510 & 570;
  • Inspection skills and experience on equipment fabrication / repair and inspections / NDE techniques;
