Education and work experience:
Secondary professional education in medical business sphere and not less than 2 years of work experience as Feldsher or in cardiology, emergency care, surgery, traumatology, anaesthesiology or resuscitation and intensive therapy departments.
Onсe in 5 years provide with upgrade qualification certificate, according to requirements of RoK legislation.
Main functions:
- Provision of primary pre-hospital medical aid to KPO employees, provision of full assistance to Medical Support Section Head and Emergency Care Doctor in all kinds of work relating to provision of high standard medical service;
- Render first pre-hospital aid in case of trauma acute poisoning and diseases, emergency cases;
- Escort patients to relevant treatment-and-preventive facilities;
- Conduct medical procedures as per doctor’s prescription (injections, dressings, laboratory investigations);
- Perform pre-shift post-shift daily medical check-ups;
- Assist with Health Department programme of health education and promotion of healthy life style;
- Ensure that the clinic, ambulance and all medical equipment is:
- in a clean, orderly and operable condition;
- always ready for the reception and treatment of any patient;
- always supplied with sufficient quantities medicines and non-medicinal consumable materials (bandages, dressings);
- always stocked with required quantity of sterile instruments as per schedule;
- fully equipped ambulance in compliance with the RoK legislation;
- Maintain the standard records for the activities;
- Ensure preparedness of all medical equipment, medications’ stock and medical instruments to emergency care;
- Maintain an accurate inventory of medications, request for medicines also issue of medicines and control of expiry dates of medicines;
- Carry out the inventory and control of issue and use of the medical items and consumables;
- Bears responsibility for recycling of medical waste as specified in Health Department Waste Management Procedure;
- Perform other tasks of the immediate superior within the responsibilities of the position.
Necessary knowledge and skills:
- Recognized protocols of emergency medicine;
- Occupational pathology and hazards;
- General knowledge of contemporary medicine and pharmacology;
- Main RoK legislative orders, procedures and laws relating to the practice of medicine;
- Life-saving techniques and manipulations as required in Pre-hospital care;
- Basic knowledge of use of computer and use of common computer programmes;
- Ability to work in stress environment, decision making and responsibility-taking;
- good team player.
