MAINTENANCE INTERFACE SUPERINTENDENT

Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in the Oil&Gas speciality and not less than 3 years of work experience in the lead specialist positions as per qualification or not less than 5 years of work experience in the specialist positions as per speciality.

Main functions:

• Act as Technical Focal Point between Projects Team and KPO Maintenance representatives (for Maintenance Engineering related activities and deliverables within the Operations Readiness and Assurance Scope of Work.
• Lead the Maintenance Interface Engineer and Contractors to ensure that Projects Scope of Work will meet maintainability and integrity requirements for the achievement of the ‘Ready to Operate’ state.
• Assist OR&A Manager on any general Operations Readiness and Assurance related activity at KPO Corporate level not included in the above functions.
• Lead the Maintenance Interface Engineer and Contractors to review engineering design documentation related to Maintenance including project philosophies (Operations and Maintenance, Control, Start-up and Shutdown, HSE aspects) and verify its compliance with KPO standards and best practices.
• Ensure that KPO maintenance requirements have been captured by Major projects along Project phases
• Lead Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS build) activities execution and assure delivery against KPO procedures and standards in liaison with Maintenance Depts.
• Supervise all other Maintenance Engineering activities (RCM, RAM, SCE identification, Ex register) by leading Maintenance Interface Engineer and Contractors and assure outcomes are fed back to Project and relevant Maintenance Depts.
• Assist the Integrated Commissioning and Start-Up Team on the activities to be carried out during Commissioning and Start-Up phases with a focus on checks to be carried out for ensuring future equipment maintainability;
• Support Maintenance and Business Service Depts in identifying Maintenance Service Contracts to be created or amended to accommodate new Asset Service needs.
• Participate to meetings, peer reviews, assist, workshops, Assurance events as required. 
• Confirm achievement of Assurance for the Technical Integrity Verification for Design and KPO Operational Performance Standards, for Project Quality endorsement
• Supervise Asset Integrity studies (Risk Based Inspection, Baseline Inspections, Written schemes of Examinations, equipment data sheet populations) by leading Maintenance Interface Engineer and Contractors and assure outcomes are fed back to Project and relevant Maintenance Depts.
• Provide maintenance inputs on Project initiatives developed within Field Facilities Modification (FFM) and General Projects (GPD).
• Revise existing Operations Readiness and Assurance related procedures, in line with Company Project Management System and Operations Management System.
• Ensure that Lesson learned from previous Projects are applied to the current Project Activities and gather Lesson learned resulting from the ongoing Projects.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

• Upper-intermediate (B2) English level is an advantage on this role;
• upstream operations, in fields with relevant issues, such as high H2S content;
• clear understanding of Value Assurance Framework and drivers that impact the business;
• Corporate Health, Safety and Environment Policy of venture, and apply to company’s Safety Management Systems;
• basic of RoK and international codes, regulations and standards relating to health and safety, environment;
• has contributed to success in major projects in international and/or remote settings;
• demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment;
• technical report writing;
• sound problem solver who understands sensitivity and complexity of delivering business within a complex joint venture and the RoK;
• team player, excellent analytical abilities, and good communicator;
