Education and work experience:
Higher education (University degree or higher) in HSE areas and not less than 2 years of work experience as Safety Specialist.
Main functions:
- Ensure compliance of KPO and Contractors personnel with RoK and KPO road traffic safety requirements;
- Implementing road traffic safety improvement plans, schedules and activities, including incidents prevention activities;
- Manage road safety documentation and databases, organize and maintain road safety reporting.
- Carry out effectively activities aimed to maintain and improve road traffic safety in KPO;
- Provide consultancy and support on road traffic safety issues to KPO and Contractors personnel;
- Maintain documentation and database on road traffic incidents and violations, drivers, prepare memorandums to Contractors and KPO Departments on road safety violations and communicate with them;
- Carry out activities as per yearly road traffic safety improvement plans and schedules;
- Carry out activities aimed to decrease of number of road traffic violations and incidents;
- Participate in road traffic safety compliance inspections, reviews and audits, in road traffic incidents investigations and risks assessments;
- Carry out activities aimed to increase safe driving culture within KPO and Contractors;
- Implement best international practices in road traffic safety approved by management;
- Conduct and participate in road traffic safety meetings, stand downs and campaigns with involvement of KPO and Contractors personnel;
- Participate in development, issuing, update road traffic safety standards, procedures and guidelines;
- Upon request or agreement with management, liaise with Authorities for road traffic safety activities requiring agreement with them, cooperate with them for road traffic safety campaigns for local community;
- Coordinate issues related to IVMS, dashcams, road infrastructure, parking lots, bus stops, banners, road info boards, technical means of road traffic regulation, including road signs, road marking, speed bumps, etc.
- Participate in weekly meetings with line managers to discuss road traffic safety plans and activities, priorities, improvements, challenges and proposals;
- Conduct regular visits of the Field in order to assess road traffic safety condition in the Field, carry out inspections, communicate on road traffic safety issues with a section personnel and other KPO and Contractors personnel working in the Field;
- Fulfill other roles and responsibilities aimed to safety improvement in KPO.
