Education and work experience:

Basic secondary education in Chemical area and professional training and not less than 2 years of work experience as Chemical Laboratory Assistant.

Main functions:

  • Carrying out of various analyses on determination of composition and physical and chemical characteristics of raw material, materials (chemicals) and finished products as per requirements of statutory documents.
  • Register of samples, calculation and presentation of the analysis results in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) database.
  • Ensuring correct labelling and control over shelf life of chemical reagents in accordance with procedures requirements.
  • Internal quality control of obtained results in accordance with established schedules and operational manual requirements.
  • Timely registration of consumption of chemical reagents, laboratory glassware in LIMS database.
  • Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment in accordance with established schedules and requirements of operational manuals.
  • Take part in development of new methods of chemical analysis, fulfil work on collecting of statistical results and data.
  • Take part in preparing reports on conducted work; compose tables, diagrams and other technical documentation.
  • Observe current standards of measurement methods
  • Requirements of regulatory and technical documents for the performance of chemical analyses.
  • Methods for quantitative calculations upon analyses results.
  • Safe operating rules of laboratory equipment.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • Theoretical and practical bases of general inorganic, organic and analytical chemistry;
  • Physical and chemical test methods.
  • Knowledge of the methods to express solution concentrations. PC skills;
  • Teamwork;
  • Working with analytical equipment;
  • Preparation of solutions;
  • Quantitative calculations of analysis results.
