Spare Parts Engineer

Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 2 years of work experience as Spare Parts Engineer 

Main functions:

•    Carry out pre and post award activities for all Production and Maintenance material contracts;

•    Carry out/ support materials supply contract scoping, market tests, evaluation of forecasted demand, technical evaluation planning/ completion, and material call off as required by Production and Maintenance;

•    Perform analysis and studies that identify and implement improvement opportunities, designed to increase team delivery and effectiveness and in turn improve materials inventory management within KPO Production and Operations.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

•    Statutory documentation and procedures related to technical preparation of production process;

•    Process equipment, principles and procedures of its operation;

•    Current system of product state attestation and certification;

•    High knowledge in material details and spare parts technical requirements;

•    High knowledge in re-order process, material management procedures and procurement procedures;

•    Awareness in statistical topics;

•    Awareness in material preservation requirements;

•    Ability to correlate maintenance manuals with spare parts requirement;

•    Computer aids and communication equipment;

•    SAP system;

•    Advanced computer literacy;

•    Ability to work simultaneously in different directions of activities;

•    Ability to read engineering drawings and other technical documentations;

•    Good communications skills;

•    Management skills: Planning, Communication, Decision-making, Delegation, Problem-solving, Motivating, Multi-task, Resilience.
