Education and work experience:

Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality and not less than 5 years of work experience in managerial positions in oil and gas. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, CPA preferred.

Main functions:

  • Provide effective organisation of the department’s activities.
  • Provide full support and ensure high quality and timely provision of management and financial reporting for KPO, Contracting Companies, Authority and Governmental Bodies.
  • Organize and supervise preparation of KPO Monthly Reporting detailing expenditures against budget with justification. Supervise AFE monitoring, control and reporting process within Work Program and Budget.
  • Assure that all financial reports are composed in compliance with the requirements of the FPSA (Final Production Sharing Agreement).
  • Coordinate audits performed by the Contracting Companies, Tax Authorities and Internal Auditors in areas relating to Joint Venture Accounting (JVA).

Necessary knowledge and skills:

  • Regulatory legal acts regulating productions and financial activity;
  • Regulatory and systematic materials related to financial activity of the company;
  • Knowledge of PSA and JOA Agreements;
  • Company expected future development; current and growth prospects condition of financial markets and sales markets (goods, works, services);
  • Flow process technology, financial work organisation in a company;
  • Finance methods and approaches assuring cash flow management;
  • International financial reporting standards;
  • ERP – SAP accounting and reporting modules
  • Tax legislation and provisions of the stabilized tax regime;
  • Economics, organisation of production, labour and management;
  • Accounting;
  • Management information – internal and external reporting
  • Labour legislation fundamentals, safety labour regulations.
